Trump Family Issues Election Day Warning

Lara Trump, serving as the co-Chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the daughter-in-law of former President Trump, made a bold statement on Friday, vowing to prosecute anyone caught engaging in electoral fraud. She declared, “We will track you down,” during her speech at Turning Point USA’s convention in Detroit.

“This is the year we take action,” Lara Trump asserted. She sent a stern warning to anyone contemplating cheating in elections, emphasizing, “We will find you, we will track you down, and we will prosecute you to the full extent of the law.”

Together with other RNC officials, Lara Trump launched an extensive campaign to mobilize thousands of “election integrity” monitors. This initiative includes setting up hotlines for poll watchers to report any perceived irregularities, which will then be addressed through legal channels. This move has raised concerns about potential harassment of election workers, as noted by the Associated Press.

“Our goal is to ensure the integrity of our electoral process,” Lara Trump stated at the convention held in a pivotal county in Michigan. “While we cannot redo 2020, we can certainly learn from it.”

Former President Trump has consistently denied the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election results, promoting unfounded claims of voter fraud. These assertions have led to ongoing legal challenges and prosecutions in subsequent years.

Trump’s supporters have indicated that he may not accept the outcome of the upcoming election if he loses to President Biden.

Lara Trump has also maintained that the 2020 election was marred by “massive fraud,” a claim she reiterated during an April interview with CNN shortly after taking her RNC position.

Under the leadership of Lara Trump and Chair Michael Whatley, the RNC has shifted its strategy. They are now encouraging voters to participate in early voting and to use mail-in ballots, a stark contrast to their previous stance.

The RNC, in collaboration with Trump’s team, has initiated a voter education campaign to inform Republicans about early voting options in their states. Former President Trump has urged his supporters to plan ahead and “vote any way possible,” aiming to avoid the issues and obstacles faced in previous elections.
