Biden Begins To Resign From Presidency

Biden is stepping out of the limelight but he’s still the president.

This week’s White House Report Card paints a picture of President Joe Biden largely stepping into the background, as Vice President Kamala Harris takes center stage, indicating that Biden might be entering a phase of reduced visibility and influence.

Biden has retreated to his Delaware beach house for the weekend with no public engagements on the calendar. His recent public appearances have been limited. We saw him briefly in CBS News coverage where he speculated about potential post-election turmoil if former President Donald Trump were to lose. He also made a brief appearance at a White House event celebrating the Texas Rangers’ victory in the 2023 World Series, where he seemed somewhat disengaged, asking, “All right, what am I doing now?”

In contrast, Vice President Harris has been active, teaming up with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who has been selected as her running mate. Together, they have been actively campaigning, drawing significant crowds and enthusiastic press coverage. The media’s focus has been notably favorable, glossing over Harris’s policy challenges and Walz’s controversial positions.

One conservative analyst rated the week an “F,” highlighting ongoing issues such as the border crisis, which has reportedly allowed 99 terrorists to enter the country, and the $239 million aid package sent to the Taliban. Babbin also criticized the stock market’s downturn, which occurred shortly after Biden claimed to have “fixed” the economy.

The analyst commented, “This week showcased another poor performance by the Biden-Harris administration. We’ve seen a dangerous increase in border security threats, the controversial funding of the Taliban, and a significant market decline following Biden’s optimistic economic claims.”

He further pointed out, “It’s ironic to see Rep. Nancy Pelosi suggesting that Biden deserves a place on Mount Rushmore alongside revered Presidents, especially after the stock market’s significant drop post-Biden’s economic ‘cure.’ This week’s events make one question how much more of the Biden administration’s economic ‘solutions’ the country can endure.”

Concluding, “The media’s tendency to label Trump and his supporters as ‘radicals’ contrasts sharply with the radical actions and policies of Biden and Harris. Now, with Governor Walz joining the Harris ticket, we are left to question the future direction of this administration.”
