Trump Amazed By God’s Gift To Him

Democrats don’t want American voters to see this.

Former President Donald Trump has expressed a deepened faith in God following a recent assassination attempt that he described as nothing short of a miracle. In a discussion with Elon Musk on an X livestream, Trump reflected on the incident, noting that the bullet only grazed his ear, an outcome he deemed as divinely intervened.

Trump, who is now 78, recounted the harrowing experience, emphasizing the miraculous nature of the bullet’s trajectory. “It struck me at a less dangerous angle than could have been,” he explained. “I believe this incident highlights the presence of a higher power. Even those who might be skeptical about faith should consider what happened here.”

The former president was visibly moved by the event and shared his surprise at how the attack unfolded. He had anticipated that the situation could have resulted in far greater casualties, particularly given the large crowd present at the rally. “I heard gunfire and immediately thought about the safety of those around me. We had thousands of people gathered, and I was concerned about how many might have been injured or worse,” Trump remarked.

The attack, which occurred on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, left one rally attendee dead and two others injured before the assailant, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was neutralized by a Secret Service sniper. Trump praised the swift and effective response of the Secret Service, highlighting their critical role in preventing further harm. “I have immense respect for the agent who acted with such precision and courage. This was an unprecedented situation for him, having served 23 years without facing anything like it,” Trump said.

The incident also stood out for its unique circumstances, including the calm response of the crowd. “One of the miracles was that nobody panicked. In many similar situations, you’d see a stampede, which often leads to additional casualties,” Trump noted.

Throughout his presidency, Trump’s relationship with religion has been a topic of interest. While he rarely attended church services and was often seen on the golf course, he has spoken about his faith journey, noting a shift from being a Presbyterian to identifying as a non-denominational Christian. During his tenure, Trump was known for supporting policies that resonated with conservative Christian values, such as his appointments to the Supreme Court who played a key role in overturning Roe v. Wade.

Trump has also garnered strong support from evangelical leaders like Franklin Graham, who spoke at the recent Republican National Convention. In his address, Trump acknowledged Graham’s influence and the supportive messages he received from faith leaders. “We live in a world full of miracles, and I am grateful for the guidance and support from people like Franklin Graham,” Trump concluded.

This renewed sense of faith and recognition of divine intervention underscores a significant moment in Trump’s public life, revealing a deeper connection to his spiritual beliefs in the wake of a dramatic and life-threatening event.
