Elon Musk Makes Kamala Richer?

These desperate Democrats will do anything to make a buck.

On Monday, Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign sent out a fundraising appeal as former President Donald Trump participated in a live interview hosted by billionaire Elon Musk. The email highlighted the need for financial support to counter what they described as “lies” being propagated.

The fundraising message began by noting, “Elon Musk is currently interviewing Donald Trump live on Twitter—yes, we’re sticking with Twitter instead of calling it ‘X’.”

The email urged supporters to contribute $25, accusing Musk, age 53, of attempting to “control” the democratic process through his platform by giving Trump, age 78, a prominent stage for his message.

The campaign criticized Musk’s substantial financial support for Trump’s re-election effort and his use of his social media platform to broadcast what they termed as Trump’s “extreme and divisive rhetoric” to a global audience.

The Harris-Walz campaign labeled Musk as a “puppet for Team MAGA,” highlighting his recent endorsement of Trump and his pledge to donate millions to pro-Trump super PACs. Despite Musk’s public statement that he does not fully align with the MAGA movement, saying, “I think America is great. I’m more M-A-G, Make America Greater,” the campaign dismissed his claims.

The email also condemned Musk for allegedly allowing hate speech and misinformation to proliferate on his platform, asserting that Musk’s wealth and influence are now being used to undermine democratic values.

Following Trump’s appearance on X Spaces, the Harris-Walz campaign issued another statement criticizing the event as “unhinged” and mocking Musk for the technical difficulties that postponed the interview. Joseph Costello, a spokesperson for the campaign, commented, “Donald Trump’s extremist agenda was fully on display, and it’s clear his campaign is catering to wealthy elites like Musk, who are out of touch with everyday Americans and can’t even manage a livestream in 2024.”

Musk later claimed that the delay was caused by a significant cyberattack and extended an invitation to Vice President Harris for a similar interview. “Happy to host Kamala on an X Spaces too,” Musk tweeted early Tuesday.
