Kamala Steals Trump’s Biggest Achievement

Kamala is stealing everything from Trump.

Supporters of former President Donald Trump are criticizing Kamala Harris for featuring images of the US-Mexico border wall in her recent campaign advertisement—a move they find hypocritical given her previous stance against the barrier. The ad, released earlier this month, prominently displays the border wall, a project initiated during Trump’s presidency, while highlighting Harris’s credentials as a “border-state prosecutor.”

The campaign spot includes footage of the border wall and scenes of Harris speaking about border security and working with border agents. The ad’s narrator promises that, if elected, Harris would enhance border security by hiring more agents and intensifying efforts against fentanyl and human trafficking. “Fixing the border is tough. So is Kamala Harris,” the narrator declares.

Mike Howell, director of the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project, drew attention to the ad’s use of the border wall images on social media. He posted screenshots of the wall from the ad, questioning Harris’s integrity. “What is that in this ad? Looks like the @realDonaldTrump BORDER WALL to me!” Howell tweeted, igniting widespread criticism from Trump’s supporters.

Critics on social media were quick to point out Harris’s previous opposition to the border wall. One user commented, “Hey Kamala Harris, weren’t ‘walls’ supposed to be racist? You and Biden halted the wall’s construction, but now you’re using it in your campaign?”

Despite the ad’s imagery, Harris and her team have not addressed the inclusion of the wall. As a senator in 2017, Harris criticized the border wall as a “waste of money” and promised to prevent its funding. Her opposition continued throughout her vice presidency, even as some segments of the wall were completed due to Congressional funding decisions. According to the House Committee on Homeland Security, illegal border crossings during her tenure as “Border Czar” increased by 140% compared to the Trump administration.

Harris’s use of the border wall in her campaign has drawn scrutiny from those questioning her consistency on immigration policy and her ability to reconcile her past criticisms with her current political strategy.
