Trump Blocks What From Illegals?

Trump and many Americans couldn’t believe what Democrats are trying to give illegals. Thankfully, Trump wants to stop it.

On Thursday, former President Donald Trump announced a bold policy proposal aimed at addressing the nation’s housing crisis and illegal immigration. Speaking to an audience at the Economic Club of New York in Manhattan, Trump emphasized the urgent need for action to tackle the impact of illegal immigration on housing affordability.

Trump asserted that the influx of approximately 21 million undocumented immigrants has significantly driven up housing costs across the country. In response, he proposed a sweeping measure to ban mortgages for illegal immigrants, highlighting the need to prioritize American citizens in housing policies.

“With the current situation, it’s clear that our housing market is being adversely affected,” Trump stated. “We cannot continue to ignore the consequences of allowing illegal immigrants to compete for limited housing resources. My plan is straightforward: ban mortgages for those who are here illegally.”

The former President also criticized California’s recent legislative efforts to provide financial assistance for undocumented immigrants seeking to purchase homes. He pointed out a proposed bill currently awaiting the decision of Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom, which aims to extend state homebuyer assistance to illegal immigrants. This bill has sparked significant debate in the state legislature, where it was passed along party lines.

Trump juxtaposed this California proposal with the plight of American soldiers, noting that in many Democrat-led cities, veterans are often found struggling on the streets while illegal immigrants are accommodated in luxury hotels. He lamented, “We have soldiers in need, and yet we see illegal immigrants being prioritized over them, living comfortably in high-end hotels.”

Governor Newsom has until the end of September to make a decision on the bill. Trump’s proposal and critique underscore a growing concern among many Republicans about the intersection of immigration policy and domestic housing challenges, calling for policies that prioritize American citizens and address the broader implications of illegal immigration on public resources.
