The left will cook up any rumor they can to slander Trump.
Former President Donald Trump has made it clear that there will be no use of props or height-enhancing devices to make him look taller in his upcoming debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, calling any such practices a form of cheating.
On his Truth Social platform, Trump emphasized that “no boxes or artificial lifts will be permitted during my debate with Comrade Kamala Harris. We addressed this issue before with former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg during a debate, where he was not allowed any height aids.” Trump asserted that allowing such measures would constitute dishonesty, noting that the Democrats already have a reputation for cheating. “You are who you are,” he declared.
This upcoming debate, set to take place on Tuesday in Philadelphia, is generating significant interest and anticipation. Negotiations between the campaigns regarding the debate rules have been intense. The Harris campaign initially sought to have microphones remain active while the other candidate was speaking, a deviation from the established rules seen in Trump’s previous debate with President Biden.
There were moments when Trump hinted he might not participate, but an agreement on the rules was reached this week. Trump won the coin toss, allowing him to choose to deliver the final closing statement, while Harris selected her podium position.
The debate will be moderated by ABC News, which has outlined the debate structure: each candidate will have two minutes to answer questions, two minutes for rebuttals, and one minute for follow-ups or clarifications. The format will include no audience, and closing statements will be limited to two minutes per candidate. Both candidates will be provided with a pen, a pad of paper, and a water bottle. The rules explicitly prohibit prewritten notes, props, or campaign staff interactions during commercial breaks.
In terms of physical stature, Harris has claimed a height of 5 feet, 4 inches, which can increase with heels, while Trump stands at 6 feet, 3 inches. This debate promises to be a significant event, with both sides bringing their distinct strengths and strategies to the table.
