Lara Trump Reveals The RNC’s New Goal

On Tuesday, RNC Chair Lara Trump spoke with Newsmax, emphasizing the crucial need for Americans to trust the electoral system—a sentiment many have questioned following the 2020 elections. During her appearance on “Rob Schmitt Tonight,” Trump highlighted the RNC’s commitment to restoring faith in the process by collaborating with state officials to clean up voter rolls. “It’s absolutely essential that we ensure our voter rolls are accurate,” she stated. “We need to remove individuals who are deceased or have relocated, and this requires working closely with each state to encourage them to maintain updated records.”

Trump underscored the RNC’s dedication to ensuring that every eligible American has the chance to vote just once in each election. She noted that while the Committee has reached out to the DNC to discuss election integrity, there has been no response to these overtures.

One of the key aspects of ensuring election integrity, according to Trump, is guaranteeing that only U.S. citizens are casting ballots. She pointed to issues in Texas, where she claimed there were instances of non-citizens voting, and mentioned a significant legal battle in Arizona. “We had to take the issue to the Supreme Court because Arizona wasn’t verifying citizenship for voter registration,” Trump explained. “The Supreme Court ruled in our favor, affirming that only U.S. citizens can register to vote. This decision could set a precedent nationwide, reinforcing the need for rigorous voter verification.”

Trump reassured that the goal is not to disenfranchise any lawful voters but to uphold the integrity of the electoral system. “Our aim is to ensure that every legitimate vote counts while preventing fraud,” she concluded. “We’re committed to protecting the voting rights of all Americans while addressing any vulnerabilities in the system.”
