Parents everywhere can sympathize with this.
Former First Lady Melania Trump recently released a touching promotional video featuring a baby photo of her son, Barron, now a college student, as part of her campaign for her upcoming memoir. In the video, which was unveiled just days after Barron’s first day at New York University, Melania reflects on the profound experiences of motherhood.
“The journey of motherhood, with its sleepless nights and joyful milestones, is an unparalleled source of fulfillment that only a mother can truly appreciate,” Melania, 54, narrates with heartfelt emotion. “These experiences have imparted invaluable lessons and have shaped me in ways I never could have anticipated.”
Her memoir, titled “Melania,” is now available for preorder at $40, or $75 for a signed edition, and is set to hit the shelves on October 8th. This release date is strategically timed, arriving just before her husband, former President Donald Trump, goes head-to-head with Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming November 5th election.
In addition to this latest promotional video, Melania has previously shared other clips highlighting her book. On Tuesday, she hinted at the need for greater transparency regarding the July 13 assassination attempt on her husband, suggesting there is more to uncover.
In a recent Sunday clip, Melania expressed her dissatisfaction with the outcome of the 2020 election. She lamented how the results have adversely affected everyday life, including the cost of living, safety, and the broader geopolitical landscape. “The 2020 election results have had a lasting impact on our lives. They have influenced the cost of essentials, safety, and even the global political climate,” she said.
Melania’s initial promotional video also addressed the criticisms she faced during her time as First Lady. She stated that her memoir would offer “the truth” to counter “misrepresentation” by former friends and aides who claimed she was indifferent to White House traditions and events like the 2021 Capitol riot. Her book aims to set the record straight and offer her perspective on these and other issues.
