Trump Finally Gets Much Needed Endorsement

About time!

Former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is once again making a compelling case for sending Donald Trump back to the White House. While she remains in this year’s GOP primary, her support for the former president is clear, and she recently expressed this sentiment at the Republican National Convention.

Just two days before the upcoming general election, Haley emphasized that casting a vote for Trump should be a straightforward decision. In her recent opinion piece for The Wall Street Journal, she stated, “Mr. Trump isn’t the only candidate on the ballot. This election represents a crucial choice between him and Kamala Harris.”

Haley acknowledged that while she doesn’t agree with Trump on every issue, her alignment with him is significantly stronger compared to her opposition to Harris. “I find myself agreeing with Mr. Trump on many policies, while I disagree with Ms. Harris nearly all the time. This clearly makes it an easy call for me.”

During her tenure as U.N. ambassador and as the governor of South Carolina, Haley witnessed firsthand the consequences of policies that stem from a lack of strong leadership. She warned that a Harris presidency could exacerbate America’s fiscal challenges and jeopardize national security, particularly regarding immigration and international relations with allies and adversaries like Israel, China, and Iran.

Haley pointed out a vital truth: “No politician gets everything right.” She urged her fellow Republicans to evaluate whether Trump’s policies have been more beneficial than those proposed by his opponent. On key issues such as taxes, spending, inflation, and energy, the differences between the candidates are stark. “Mr. Trump clearly emerges as the better choice,” she argued.

While some of Trump’s other primary rivals have been more publicly vocal, Haley has remained focused on supporting the party’s best chance at victory. Recently, she was in Pennsylvania rallying for Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick, encouraging voters to prioritize logic over emotion and back Trump. Pennsylvania is one of the critical swing states that will play a significant role in determining the outcome of the presidential race.
