Trump Hater Begs For Forgiveness

Looks like somebody has had a change of heart.

NewsNation host Chris Cuomo recently called out Democrats for downplaying the assassination attempts on former President Donald Trump, claiming their lack of outrage was a sign of how detached they are from the concerns of everyday Americans. In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Cuomo expressed his disgust at how left-wing commentators minimized the seriousness of the attack in July, when Trump was targeted with a bullet that grazed his ear.

Cuomo said the response from many on the left was utterly “appalling,” pointing out how they dismissed the attempted assassination by describing it as merely a “nick” to his ear, rather than acknowledging the true gravity of the situation. “You get nicked in the ear by a bullet and tell me it’s no big deal. I’m good. Nah, nah, that’s crazy,” Cuomo remarked. His outrage was compounded by the fact that Trump was again the target of a second assassination attempt just two months later, this time on a golf course in Florida.

The media’s lack of proper coverage, Cuomo argued, showed just how out of touch the political elite are with the American people. “If this had happened to Vice President Harris, you would have heard about it for days. The media would’ve been in a frenzy, calling it a crisis. But instead, the left just brushes it off when it’s Trump,” he said. Cuomo also criticized Harris and President Biden’s response to the attack, which he described as weak and uninspired. While both issued a statement condemning political violence, Cuomo believed it was little more than a political move, highlighting their disconnect from the real feelings of Americans.

“This is exactly why Democrats lost the election. They lost touch with the people. The majority of Americans don’t want leaders who downplay violence or fail to empathize with what they’re going through,” Cuomo concluded. His comments reflect growing frustration within conservative circles over the left’s perceived inability to properly respond to serious issues, like political violence, in a way that resonates with ordinary voters.
