Melania Trump Shows Her Class

America needs a real First Lady and it’s Melania.

As President-elect Donald Trump prepares to return to the White House just one week from now, the winds of change are sweeping through Washington, D.C., and the Trump family is gearing up for another chapter in their political journey.

Soon-to-be First Lady Melania Trump is poised to resume her role with a renewed sense of purpose and experience. Having served as First Lady from 2016 to 2020, Melania is now ready to build on her previous work and expand her “Be Best” initiative, which focuses on improving youth well-being and combating cyberbullying. In an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Ainsley Earhardt, Melania shared her thoughts on the transition and how she provides counsel to her husband.

“I’ve always been true to myself,” she said, reflecting on her first time in the role. “But I think people may not have understood me back then. I didn’t have much support, and that was challenging. Now, I feel like people see me differently, and I am more confident in my role.”

Melania emphasized her independence and willingness to speak her mind, even when it means disagreeing with her husband. “I give him my advice. Sometimes he listens, sometimes he doesn’t—but that’s okay,” she added. This independent streak is a hallmark of her approach to the First Lady position, and she plans to continue championing causes important to her, especially the well-being of children.

The “Be Best” initiative was a core focus of her first term, and she is eager to expand it in her second. “The first time, I didn’t have much support from others, but this time, if we can work together—especially with the tech companies—we can do so much more to help kids navigate the dangers of social media,” Melania said, highlighting the importance of protecting youth from online harm and promoting mental health.

Looking ahead, Melania’s life will be featured in an upcoming Amazon Prime documentary, which will delve into her journey, offering an intimate look at her time in the White House and her work as First Lady. The documentary follows the success of her memoir, “Melania,” which became a bestseller upon its release last year.

As for the upcoming presidential inauguration on January 20, Melania feels more prepared for the role of First Lady this time around. “I know what to expect. I’ve been through it before,” she said. “The first time was challenging because we didn’t have all the information we needed, but now I’m ready.” She acknowledged that the transition process will be meticulous, with the Trump team having just five hours to move into the White House after the Bidens vacate the premises. For Melania, this means managing the logistics, preparing her team, and settling into the White House once again.

Since President Biden’s inauguration in 2021, the Trump family has faced an array of challenges—legal battles, attempts on the president’s life, and another campaign for the White House. But despite these hurdles, Donald Trump emerged victorious in the 2024 election, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris and securing 312 electoral votes in a decisive win. With Trump’s return to the White House, the focus will be on tackling issues like taxes, immigration, and inflation, all while working to “put the country back in shape.”

As Melania put it, “It’s an exciting time, and we have a lot of work ahead of us. But we are ready.” With her experience, determination, and passion for helping others, Melania is prepared to make her mark once again as First Lady, alongside her husband as they embark on a second term to restore America’s greatness.
