Kamala And Walz Called Out For Betraying Israel

Former Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie has criticized Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, for their approach to the Israel-Hamas conflict, calling their actions “moral cowardice.” In an interview with Newsmax’s “Wake Up America Weekend,” Wilkie sharply condemned Walz’s recent comments on Michigan radio.

Walz had expressed support for individuals protesting against Israel’s military actions in Gaza, suggesting these protests were driven by a genuine desire for justice and advocating for a two-state solution. Wilkie described this stance as “insanity,” arguing that it reflects a broader pattern of misjudgment from the Harris-Walz ticket. He believes their approach pressures Israel while promoting a two-state solution with a group dedicated to Israel’s destruction.

Wilkie also supported Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to deploy troops along the Philadelphi corridor near Egypt, emphasizing that Egypt is failing to prevent the flow of weapons into Gaza. He pointed out the significant anti-Netanyahu sentiment in Tel Aviv, noting that opposition to Netanyahu has been longstanding but has intensified with the current conflict.

According to Wilkie, the situation is dire, with nearly 100,000 Israelis displaced and 700 soldiers lost. He contends that peace can only be achieved through the complete dismantling of Hamas and a substantial reduction in Hezbollah’s military capabilities.

Wilkie criticized the current administration’s handling of Iran, stating that the U.S. under President Joe Biden is engaging in appeasement. He drew a contrast with the Trump administration’s more assertive stance, arguing that Biden’s policies have emboldened Iran. Wilkie claimed that this administration’s weakness plays into the hands of those who seek to undermine Israel and suggested that the Democrats are failing to effectively counter the threats posed by Iran and its allies.
