GOP To Flip The Senate

While the presidential election has captured most of the spotlight this season, Michael Whatley, Chairman of the Republican National Committee, recently provided a significant update on the downballot races during a Wednesday radio appearance. Whatley expressed confidence that the GOP is in an excellent position to reclaim control of the Senate, with key battlegrounds being West Virginia and Montana.

In his conversation with Breitbart News Daily, Whatley highlighted, “If we secure victories in West Virginia and Montana, we are on track to take back the Senate. I believe other wins will follow if former President Donald Trump has a strong showing on November 5.”

Whatley specifically praised Montana Senate candidate Tim Sheehy, noting that his campaign has gained momentum with a 5-point lead in recent polls. This boost comes after Trump’s endorsement and campaigning efforts on Sheehy’s behalf earlier this month.

Additionally, Whatley expressed optimism about other Republican Senate candidates, including Bernie Moreno in Ohio, Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania, and Sam Brown in Nevada. He emphasized that the GOP is in a robust position to potentially increase its Senate majority with these promising candidates.

Turning to the House races, Whatley described the situation as “trench warfare,” underscoring the need for intense focus and effort. He pointed out that Republicans currently hold a narrow two-seat majority and stressed the importance of capitalizing on the strong slate of candidates running this cycle.

To strengthen the GOP’s position, Whatley urged supporters to actively participate in the election process. He encouraged them to join the Trump Force 47 initiative, sign up to contribute to the grassroots efforts, and visit ProtectTheVote.com to help ensure the integrity of elections nationwide.
