Democrats Terrified Of Trump’s Upcoming Event

Trump is expecting a major win.

Former President Donald Trump is on the brink of surpassing President Biden’s fundraising milestone in a grandiose manner, aiming for a hefty $50 million dinner event set for Saturday night. This event, to be held at hedge funder John Paulson’s opulent Palm Beach residence, adjacent to Trump’s own Mar-a-Lago estate, is expected to double the previous record set by Biden’s Radio City Music Hall gathering, which brought in $25 million on March 28th.

Campaign spokesperson Danielle Alvarez proudly proclaimed, “It took three Democrat presidents to raise $25 million and one president to raise over $50 million, Donald J. Trump.” This achievement underscores the unified support behind Trump within the Republican Party, demonstrating a collective determination to defeat Biden in the upcoming presidential election.

Paulson echoed this sentiment, expressing overwhelming support from GOP megadonors, indicating a broad spectrum of donors rallying behind Trump’s cause. Described as a pivotal “come-home-to-Trump moment,” the “Inaugural Leadership Dinner” signifies the first major GOP fundraising event since Trump secured the party’s nomination, offering prominent Republicans an opportunity to reaffirm their allegiance following a contentious primary season.

Notably, three former GOP rivals of Trump—Vivek Ramaswamy, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum—are slated to attend as special guests. Additionally, event co-chairs such as hotel entrepreneur Robert Bigelow and oil magnate Harold Hamm, who were key supporters of Trump’s primary challengers, further illustrate the consolidation of support within the party.

Attendees are anticipated to contribute between $250,000 and $814,600 per person for the privilege of attending the reception and dinner at Paulson’s lavish $110 million oceanfront estate. Among the esteemed guests are WWE co-founder Linda McMahon, hotelier Steve Wynn, former Senator Kelly Loeffler, and hedge fund billionaire Robert Mercer.

Proceeds from the event will be allocated through a joint fundraising agreement with the Republican National Committee, with the majority of funds directed to the RNC and state Republican parties. A portion of each ticket price will also support Trump’s campaign and a leadership PAC covering his legal expenses.

While the GOP’s joint fundraising efforts amassed over $65.6 million in March, concluding the month with $91.3 million cash on hand, Biden’s fundraising prowess remains formidable. In March alone, Biden’s campaign raked in an impressive $90 million, outstripping Trump’s total by nearly $25 million and leaving the Democrat with a historic $192 million in cash reserves.
