Kamala’s Ex Makes Strange Confession
Willie Brown, a former San Francisco mayor and California Assembly speaker, recently shared his thoughts with Newsmax on a variety of topics, including his past relationship with Vice President Kamala Harris and his experiences with former President Donald Trump.
Brown, who was a prominent figure in California politics, began his relationship with Harris in 1993 when she was 29 years old and he was 59. At the time, Brown was the Assembly Speaker and a candidate for San Francisco mayor. This connection significantly impacted Harris’s career, giving her access to influential circles in San Francisco’s political and financial world. In early 1994, Brown appointed Harris to the Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, and later that year, she was also named to the California Medical Assistance Commission.
Brown recounted his first encounter with Harris at a wedding, describing her as both strikingly attractive and impressively intelligent. “Believe it or not, I attended a wedding for her,” Brown said. “It was my first exposure to her, and I found her to be incredibly smart and engaging.”
By 1994, media reports were highlighting Harris as Brown’s girlfriend, although he was still married, albeit separated from his wife Blanche. Their relationship reportedly ended around late 1995 or early 1996. Harris then continued her rise in politics, becoming an assistant district attorney in San Francisco in 1998 and later being elected district attorney in 2002.
When asked if Harris’s political success was due to his influence, Brown was clear in his response. “Absolutely not,” he stated. “She achieved her position based on her own skills and qualifications. Her career progression in the city attorney’s office and as an assistant district attorney was purely a result of her own efforts and competitive nature.”
Brown also reflected on his long-standing acquaintance with Donald Trump, which began about 30 years ago in a social setting. He recalled advising Trump against pursuing certain political endeavors in Los Angeles. Although Brown described Trump as somewhat intriguing and fun, he admitted he did not know him well enough to form a strong opinion.
As for predicting the outcome of the presidential election, Brown jokingly reflected on his past relationship with Harris, suggesting with a smile that she might well become president. “I think I will be seriously regretting that I never stayed with her,” Brown said. “She’ll be the president.”
