Is Kamala A 'Sell Out' Like GOP Says?

Kamala Copying Whose Policies?

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., expressed significant concerns about the possibility of Kamala Harris becoming President, suggesting that her policies could steer the United States toward a situation similar to Venezuela’s current crisis. Speaking on Newsmax’s “National Report,” Malliotakis criticized the Biden administration’s record, describing it as a failure and arguing that it has led to economic hardship and increased insecurity for Americans.

According to Malliotakis, many Americans are eager to return to the policies of President Trump, which she claims fostered a more affordable and prosperous America. She emphasized the importance of voting Republican to restore what she sees as the successful policies of the previous administration. “People want a return to Trump’s approach, which made America safe, secure, and economically sound,” she stated. “To achieve that, we need to support Republican candidates.”

Malliotakis also criticized the Democratic National Convention, accusing the party of failing to address the problems it has caused. “The Democrats are unable to confront the consequences of their own policies,” she said. “They’ve made life more expensive and less safe. Our country is dealing with increased crime, including the influx of dangerous individuals.”

Furthermore, Malliotakis highlighted what she perceives as troubling similarities between Harris’s proposed policies and those that have led to disaster in Venezuela. She pointed to Venezuela’s experience with price controls as an example of failed economic strategies. “Venezuela implemented price controls in response to severe inflation created by Chavez and Maduro, leading to widespread shortages and severe economic collapse,” Malliotakis explained. “The situation there is dire, with people scavenging for food and experiencing extreme poverty.”

Malliotakis warned that if Harris’s policies were implemented in the U.S., they could have similarly devastating effects. “We cannot allow the same fate to befall America. The risk of adopting policies that could lead to such an economic and social breakdown is too great,” she concluded.
