Kamala is pathetic.
On Sunday, Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign took a swipe at former President Donald Trump following his recent remarks about pop sensation Taylor Swift. In a statement released on X (formerly Twitter), spokesperson Sarafina Chitika used a series of Swift’s song titles to mock Trump’s disparaging comments about the singer. The release quipped, “It’s clear that Donald Trump’s week has him feeling ‘Down Bad,’” referring to a series of setbacks and controversies surrounding the former president.
The statement continued, “Mr. Trump has spent the past week wallowing in his own grievances, lamenting his ‘Champagne Problems,’ and neglecting to address pressing national issues. His incessant rambling and conspiratorial rants raise concerns about whether he is ‘too emotional’ to lead the country effectively.”
Trump’s frustration with Swift became evident when he declared on Truth Social, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” This outburst came in the wake of Swift’s endorsement of Vice President Harris. Swift had praised Harris as a “steady-handed, gifted leader” on Instagram, contrasting her calm demeanor with what she described as the chaos of Trump’s leadership style.
In response, Chitika noted, “Trump’s week of complaints and conspiracy theories has led many voters to ‘Forget That He Existed.’ Americans are eager to move ‘Out of the Woods’ of the tumultuous Trump era, and leave behind the ‘Blank Space’ of his broken promises. They are ready to ‘Begin Again’ with Vice President Harris, ensuring a future filled with opportunity and stability.”
Trump, unfazed by Swift’s endorsement, dismissed it during an interview on “Fox & Friends.” “I was never a Taylor Swift fan,” Trump said, suggesting that Swift’s liberal leanings made her support for Harris inevitable. He added, “She’ll likely face repercussions in the marketplace for her political choices.”
In a subsequent email to The Hill, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung linked to a post from the “Trump War Room” account, which referenced a recent ABC News/Ipsos poll indicating that Swift’s endorsement might have a modest impact on voter preferences, with a small percentage saying it made them more inclined to support Harris.
