Vance Doubles Down On Kamala
Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) has voiced strong criticism of Vice President Kamala Harris’s performance as “border czar,” attributing the surge in illegal immigration to her failure to address the issue effectively.
During a recent appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, Vance highlighted the alarming number of illegal immigrants currently residing in the U.S. While the Department of Homeland Security estimates this figure at around eight million, Vance believes this number is significantly underestimated. He asserts that millions of individuals have entered the country unlawfully since Harris assumed her role.
When host Kristen Welker pointed out that Harris was assigned to tackle the “root causes of migration,” Vance sharply criticized her for not taking action. He argued that Harris’s inaction has exacerbated the crisis, suggesting that the U.S. must reverse her policies immediately to stop the situation from worsening. Vance emphasized the need for measures such as reintroducing deportations, ending the asylum process for non-citizens, and halting “mass parole” to regain control over the immigration crisis.
Vance also addressed concerns about family separations in the context of illegal immigration. He clarified that the focus of deportations would be on violent criminals while emphasizing that children living with drug cartels—who are not their biological families—should be reunited with their true families.
On the issue of voting integrity, Vance underscored the importance of ensuring that only legal ballots are counted and illegal votes are excluded. He expressed confidence in the fairness of the upcoming 2024 election, voicing optimism about the Trump campaign’s current standing.
Earlier this week, former President Donald Trump visited the southern border and highlighted disturbing incidents of violence against women and children by illegal immigrants. Trump was accompanied by the families of two women who were tragically raped and murdered by illegal immigrants, drawing attention to the severe consequences of current immigration policies.
