Trump commented on Harris, saying, “I’ve heard she’s not the most pleasant person and not particularly skilled at debating, but we’ll see. We’re planning to debate her soon.” He expressed a preference for Fox News as the platform for the debate, stating, “I think Fox would handle it well, but the venue needs mutual agreement.”

In recent developments, Trump’s planned debate with President Biden on September 10 was cancelled after Biden’s withdrawal from the race, with Harris now standing in as the Democratic nominee. Trump had initially accepted the ABC News debate but later retracted his commitment, partly due to ongoing legal disputes with the network’s George Stephanopoulos.
