Obama Jumps Into 2024 Race

Obama is up to his dirty tactics once again.

Former President Barack Obama is set to host a lavish fundraiser for Vice President Kamala Harris this Friday, marking his first campaign effort on behalf of the Democratic nominee. This event features ticket prices soaring from $50,000 to an astounding $250,000, aligning with a separate fundraiser by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton taking place in Los Angeles around the same time.

Both Obama and Clinton have previously lent their support to President Joe Biden’s fundraising endeavors earlier this year. As the 2024 presidential race heats up, they plan to ramp up their campaigning for Harris, who has recently taken the lead on the Democratic ticket following Biden’s decision to step aside.

In a strategic move, Harris has surrounded herself with a cadre of advisers who previously worked under Obama and Clinton, including notable names such as David Binder, Stephanie Cutter, David Plouffe, Mitch Stewart, and Jennifer Palmieri. This infusion of experience aims to bolster her campaign’s effectiveness as they approach the critical final stretch of the election cycle.

John Anzalone, a key adviser to Harris and an experienced pollster who played pivotal roles in both Obama campaigns and Clinton’s 2016 bid, emphasized the urgency of their mission. “This is an all-hands-on-deck situation,” he stated, highlighting the necessity for collaboration regardless of past campaign affiliations. “It doesn’t matter where you learned your skills; what counts is the understanding of what’s at stake in this election.”

As the Democrats unite their forces behind Harris, Republicans should take note of this consolidation and the high-stakes environment shaping the upcoming election. With seasoned campaign veterans joining her team, it’s clear that the Democrats are gearing up for a fierce battle in 2024, reinforcing the need for Republican unity and strategic planning to counter their efforts. The stakes are undeniably high, and the race is on.
