Stormy Daniels should leave the Trump family alone.
Adult film actress Stormy Daniels shared her thoughts on Melania Trump’s situation following former President Donald Trump’s recent legal troubles. On Sunday, after Trump’s conviction in his criminal hush money trial, Daniels offered advice to Melania during an interview with the Mirror.
A New York jury found Trump guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment made by his then-lawyer Michael Cohen to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, before the 2016 presidential election. Daniels alleges she had an affair with Trump in 2006, which he denies. Trump insists he is innocent and claims the case is a political attack. His legal team plans to appeal the decision.
Daniels urged Melania to leave Trump, not because of his alleged affairs, but due to his criminal conviction. “I don’t know the specifics of their agreement, but Melania needs to leave him,” Daniels stated. “Not because of what he did with me or other women but because he is a convicted felon.”
She further emphasized: “He’s been proven abusive; he’s been held liable for sexual assault and tax fraud, and now he’s a criminal. He is no longer the ‘Teflon Don.'”
In January, Trump was ordered to pay $83.3 million to former Elle columnist E. Jean Carroll for defamation after she accused him of sexually assaulting her in the 1990s. Another jury previously awarded Carroll $5 million for sexual abuse and defamation. Trump denies all accusations and is appealing the decisions.
Additionally, Trump and his associates were found liable in a civil fraud case in February, accused of inflating property values and net worth to secure loans and make deals. Trump continues to fight the ruling, maintaining his innocence.
Daniels’ comments come as Trump’s family attended his trial to show support, though Melania Trump was notably absent, raising questions about their marriage’s status. In a Fox News interview, Trump remarked that the trial was especially difficult for Melania, stating, “It’s tougher on my family than it is on me.”
During the trial, Daniels recounted the alleged encounter with Trump in graphic detail, which she claims occurred in 2006, a year after Trump married Melania.
Melania has largely remained out of the public eye amid her husband’s legal battles and 2024 presidential campaign, prompting speculation about her motives. Despite not attending any of Trump’s court appearances, she made a public appearance at a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago on April 20 for the Log Cabin Republicans, marking her first major political event of the year.
