President Donald Trump received a hero’s welcome in Las Vegas on Saturday, as he made a surprise visit to the Circa Resort & Casino, drawing cheers from a crowd of enthusiastic gamblers. After delivering a speech in Sin City, where he reaffirmed his commitment to eliminating taxes on tips, the President made a celebratory stroll through the casino floor, where the crowd erupted into chants of “USA! USA!”
The scene was a true testament to Trump’s enduring popularity among everyday Americans. As he made his way through the gaming area, excited patrons raised their phones to capture the moment, while Trump clapped and exchanged a few words with those in attendance. One waitress, visibly grateful, thanked him saying, “Thank you. We appreciate you.”
The President’s charm didn’t stop there. He made his way to a craps table, where he spent time with a pair of seasoned gamblers. One of the men, clearly at ease with the high-profile guest, asked, “You want to roll?” Trump, ever the gentleman, responded, “No, I want him to roll,” pointing to the man with the dice. The gambler then rolled a “hard four,” prompting Trump to offer a smile and the comment, “Not bad!”
The moment was a fun and lighthearted glimpse into the down-to-earth side of the President, who later posed for a selfie with a lucky fan. After shaking hands with the men at the table, Trump continued his busy schedule, which included a series of public appearances over the past few days. In the span of just two days, the President had visited North Carolina to discuss recovery efforts following Hurricane Helene, traveled to Los Angeles to address the fallout from devastating wildfires, and concluded his trip in Las Vegas to push his tax reform proposal.
This latest stop in Las Vegas once again highlights Trump’s strong connection to working-class Americans, proving that, even in the glitz and glamour of Sin City, his populist message resonates loud and clear.
