Joe Rogan Snubs Donald Trump?

Former President Donald Trump recently addressed the topic of Joe Rogan’s widely followed podcast during a discussion with Lex Fridman, another prominent conservative podcaster. Trump clarified that he has neither been invited to appear on Rogan’s show nor has he requested an interview himself.

In his conversation with Fridman, Trump stated, “I don’t think there was any tension. I’ve always had a positive view of Rogan, but I don’t know him personally.” Trump mentioned that he only encounters Rogan at events, such as when he meets UFC President Dana White, and he acknowledges Rogan’s skill in his profession. However, Trump made it clear that while he would consider participating in the podcast, he hasn’t pursued it and is not actively seeking such an appearance.

As the Republican nominee for president, Trump has been engaging with a variety of right-leaning media figures and influencers, contributing to a multitude of interviews and video segments. His recent media engagements reflect his strategic focus on conservative platforms and personalities.

Rogan, who boasts a massive following and has secured lucrative deals with Spotify, is known for his provocative opinions on a range of topics, including COVID-19, climate change, and antisemitism. His political stance has been somewhat eclectic; he supported Bernie Sanders in the 2020 Democratic primaries and later endorsed Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has since switched his support to Trump.

Trump described Rogan as “sort of a liberal guy” in his chat with Fridman but expressed approval of Rogan’s support for Kennedy before Kennedy’s alignment with Trump. “I think Bobby is going to be great, and I appreciate that Rogan likes Kennedy,” Trump remarked.

While Trump continues to engage with conservative media, he has been critical of mainstream outlets like ABC and CNN for their coverage of his campaign. Additionally, Trump has taken aim at Vice President Kamala Harris for her limited public appearances and interviews, contrasting her approach with his own extensive media presence. The two candidates are set to face off in their second presidential debate next Tuesday on ABC.
