Karoline Leavitt, the National Press Secretary for Trump 2024, recently highlighted the alarming plot by Iran to assassinate former President Donald Trump, calling him “the biggest threat to their terrorist regime.” This assertion reflects a deep concern about national security under the current administration.

Leavitt emphasized the stark contrast between Trump’s leadership and that of Vice President Kamala Harris. “Can you imagine four years of her as commander in chief?” she questioned during her appearance on Newsmax TV’s “Saturday Report.” She believes Harris has repeatedly surrendered to the far-left, catering to pro-Hamas sympathizers and failing to provide consistent support for Israel. “We need President Trump back in office, someone who will unequivocally stand with our ally Israel and send a strong message to Iran that their acts of terror will not go unchallenged,” Leavitt asserted.

The current state of turmoil in the Middle East, according to Leavitt, can be traced back to the policies of President Joe Biden and Harris. She pointed out that just weeks before the October 7th attacks on Israel, the Biden administration transferred $6 billion to Iran, funds that she believes may have facilitated these acts of violence. “This escalation of terrorism, with groups like Hezbollah and Hamas emboldened, is a direct result of the current leadership’s weakness. Had President Trump been in the Oval Office, things would be very different,” she stated.

The recent confirmation of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah’s death in an Israeli airstrike was viewed positively by Leavitt, who remarked, “This is welcome news and underscores the urgent need to reelect President Trump.” She believes that strong leadership is crucial for combating terrorism and ensuring the safety of our allies. In her view, only Trump can restore order and security to a world that has been destabilized by the current administration.
